ForexAMG Website Development – Laravel, SOAP APIs & Responsive UI

I was actively involved in the end-to-end ForexAMG Website Development, working closely with clients, analysts, and developers via Freelancer.com. The project required deep technical collaboration, Agile planning, and a blend of front-end and back-end technologies to achieve a seamless, secure, and scalable trading-related platform.

🧩 My Role & Contributions

👥 Agile Collaboration & Project Planning

• Participated in sprint planning meetings with business analysts, clients, and development team members

• Translated business requirements into a working development roadmap using Agile methodology

• Contributed to modular development, ensuring each functionality was scalable and testable

🧰 Laravel-Based Backend Development

• Used Laravel to create a modular architecture for ForexAMG’s new login and simulation modules

• Built secure and optimized backend services for authentication, data handling, and user management

• Integrated new functionalities with the existing login system for a smooth user experience

🌐 Web Services – SOAP, WSDL & CXF

• Worked with WSDL and CXF to create and consume SOAP-based web services

• Developed and consumed APIs for real-time communication between internal tools and Forex data streams

• Generated API stubs and validators for fast integration and testing

🖥️ Frontend Design – Bootstrap & Media Queries

• Used Bootstrap's responsive grid system to design a UI that adjusts seamlessly across devices

• Implemented media queries to resolve mobile-specific display issues

• Ensured cross-browser compatibility and an intuitive interface for ForexAMG users

🧪 Simulator & Validator Modules

• Designed and developed custom simulators and data validators

• Integrated simulators with automation frameworks, improving QA coverage and speeding up release cycles

• Enabled the QA and DevOps teams to hit automation benchmarks through real-time validation modules
